Welcome to Coatesville
Situated just twenty minutes north of the Harbour Bridge, Coatesville provides a slice of peaceful country life that is a world away from the hustle and bustle of New Zealand’s largest city. Right in the heart of Coatesville village, Coatesville Reserve is home to the Coatesville Half Marathon. With gorgeous lakes, stretches of board walk and stunning greenery, the reserve is the perfect place to base rural running at its finest.
Also home to the Coatesville Pony Club courses and the Coatesville Settlers Town Hall, the area is popular for a number of events such as the monthly farmers market. It’s easy to get to the Scenic Reserve by car, taking the Northern Motorway and passing through Albany Village. Up and over the Albany Hill (don’t worry, you don’t have to run back up that one) and just inside the Coatesville borders you’ll find the reserve.
Registration is held at the Coatesville Settlers Hall and the race starts right outside the front door on Mahoenui Valley Road.
